The Audi Front 225 motor car was built Post 2nd world war from 1935 to 1938.

History

The Audi Front 225 was a German car with front-wheel drive, which the for-Auto Union owned brand Audi as the successor of the first model Audi Front UW. First presented in Berlin 1935 at the 25th International Automobile and Motorcycle Exhibition (IAMA).

 The 2.3-liter six-cylinder engine of the Audi Front 225 was equivalent to the Wanderer W245. Ferdinand Porsche 1931 for hikers W20 constructed the 2-liter inline engine was 2.3 litre or as (2,25L) as the name states displacement enlarged and developed 50 horsepower at 3500 rpm and by 1937 raised to 55 horsepower at 3800 rpm fitted with 2 Solex JFF or 30 FFVS carburettors. 

Audi Front 225 Technical details (1935-1938)

The front and rear four-speed gearbox with synchronized 3rd and 4th gear is actuated by a lever on the dashboard. The car built with central box frame has front independent suspension with overhead wishbones and transverse leaf spring at the bottom and rear swing arms with bottom transverse leaf spring. It was available as a 4-door sports sedan 2-door convertible (2 or 4 windows) or 2-door roadster and larger 4-door sedan fitted with 6 windows. 

Audi Front 225 (1935-1938) Technical details

The Audi Front 225 saloons were produced at the Horch plant of Auto Union in Zwickau. The Cabriolets built in Dresden with the chassis supplied by Horch. The successor came in 1938, the Audi 920 with a new 3.2-liter engine and rear-wheel drive came on the market.
