GE Engineering PLC was a British manufacturer of kit type replica automobiles as GE Cars in the 1980s. The brand name was GE . 

History

John Payne and Michael Hart founded the company in 1988 in  Wiltshire . They took over a project from Gravetti Engineering and began producing automobiles and kits . The brand name was GE . 1989 ended production.

CK Automotive from Maidstone continued the production until 1998 and used the brand name CK .

The only model was the 427 . This was the successor to the Gravetti 427 . It was a replica of the AC Cobra . The base formed a grid frame. On it a two-seat body was mounted, made of aluminum and aramid fiber reinforced polyester . The suspension came from Jaguar Cars . Various engines from the V6 engine from Ford over V8 engines from Chevrolet , Ford and Rover to the larger V12 engine from Jaguar.

In total, about 70 copies of the model 427 were made by the three manufacturers.
