Racecorp Limited was a British manufacturer of automobiles in the 1990s. The brand name was Racecorp .

History

 

The company was founded in the 1980s in Chinnor in Oxfordshire England and production of automobiles and kits in 1990.  Eldon House Auto kits later continued production under its own brand name in 1992.

On offer were quality roadsters the models LA and Lai, which differed only slightly in the suspension. They were inspired by the Lotus Seven It was originally designed by engineer Steve Amos. Roger Wimmey had designed the chassis in the form of a spaceframe tubular frame. Then an open two-seater body was mounted. Various engines from Fiat and Ford such as a turbocharged 1600 CVH as well as Wankel engines from Mazda RX7 powered the vehicles through a Type 9, 5-speed gearbox.

1993 ended production. In total, about twelve copies were made including factory-built cars.
