For the model year 2000, the LeSabre received in the fall of 1999 again a fundamental revision. The vehicle now built on GM's G platform LeSabre shares its structure with the Cadillac Seville, Pontiac Bonneville, and Oldsmobile Aurora. . The hood was contoured, the oval grille did not open more together with the bonnet, and the rear was made higher. The turn signals went back to the vehicle corners next to the broadband headlights.

For the 100th birthday of Buick 2003 appeared a particularly well-equipped special model LeSabre Celebration Edition in the three finishes (white and two pearl colors) with black trim.  Custom and Limited models continue, both with a 3.8-liter V6 and automatic transmission as the power-train. Traction control is standard on Limited, optional on the Custom. Firmer suspension and 16-inch wheels in place of 15s are available as part of the optional Gran Touring package for both models. Antilock  4-wheel-disc brakes and front side airbags are standard. A standard split front bench seat allows six-passenger seating; bucket front seats with a centre console are optional.

Prestige option package, which includes a CD player and a power front passenger seat. The Custom also gains a standard power driver's seat as is the option for GM's StabiliTrak antiskid system, which is designed to sense an impending skid in a tum and brake an individual wheel to keep the car on its intended course. Also
included are self-sealing tires and a head-up instrument display.

Inside Gauges and controls are large, simple, and well-placed but highly reflective plastic faceplates make it hard to read the transmission-position indicator, trip odometer, and audio and climate panels. The optional center console provide plenty of interior storage, though the console's cupholder
