The Cactus M is a concept car that Citroën 2015 presented at the IAA Frankfurt .

History

Based on the Citroën C4 Cactus , the Cactus M gave an outlook on a successor to the Citroën Méhari . Hence the M for Méhari.

The Cactus M Concept is shorter in length and has a shorter wheelbase than the C4 Cactus. The concept automobile, on the other hand, kept the construction vehicle, which is limited to the smallest possible weight and production costs, as well as the futuristic interior.

The Cactus M has a higher designated body than the base model, a steeper Asked windscreen with a roll bar on the windshield frame, and a Grip Control-called traction control with Tall & Narrow tyres for more manoeuvrability and to handle even the most demanding terrain or slopes as quickly as possible. A special feature was the convertible top. An extension in the trunk lid could be converted into a self-supporting tent for two persons by means of an inflatable system.Citroën finally decided not for a series production, but developed together with Bolloré the Citroën e-Méhari based on the Bolloré Bluesummer and offers this since 2016 in its model range.
