The Daihatsu Zebra was a available as a minivan and pickup truck, that was produced in Indonesia by the Astra Daihatsu Motor between 2001 and 2008.

It was developed on the basis of Daihatsu Hijet specifically for Indonesia and similar Asian markets by Astra Daihatsu Motor in Jakarta . This was the first model produced there, with versions of the Hijet were previously available with the additional name zebra in Indonesia.

In addition to the van, it was also available as a minibus and as a flatbed and chassis. Featuring electronic fuel injection Distributor less ignition ,Mac Pherson Struts with double acting telescopic shock absorbers front and Rigid axle semi-elliptic springs & double acting telescopic shock absorbers at the rear. The engine used was a petrol engine with 1.3 liters and 82 hp (60 kW) or 1.6 liters and 125 hp (92 kW), coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission.

In Japan and Europe , the zebra was not offered. The model was also produced in Malaysia by Perodua as Perodua Rusa .
