The Dodge Dynasty was offered by the US automaker Dodge from 1987 to 1993.

History

The Dodge Dynasty was a front-wheel drive sedan.For model year 1988, the Dynasty appeared on the basis of Chrysler's new C platform. The Dynasty was the Dodge parallel model to Chrysler New Yorker the model years 1988 to 1993.

The enginesin the Dynasty on the one hand, the Chrysler's own 2.5 -liter four-cylinder with three-speed automatic and the Mitsubishi- derived 3.0 -l V6 with four-speed automatic transmission. From the model year 1990, there was also a Chrysler-derived 3.3 -liter V6 surcharge.

The model program was divided into basic model (with four-cylinder engine) and Dynasty LE (with three-liter engine). The 3.0-liter as well as the 3.3-liter  with the Ultradrive transmission were available later for an additional cost. 

The Dynasty is available in Base and LE model Both are built on a wheelbase,measure 192 inches overall and provide 16.5 cubic space.Base model is powerd by a 2.5 liter EFIH 4-cylinder engine With a 3-speed autornatic transaxle. The 3.0 litrer sequential multi-point injection (SMPI) V-6 and SMH V-6 engines are optional as is the 4-speed automatic transaxle.Dynasty LE is powered ty a 3.0.Liter SMH V-6 engine with a 4-speed automatic transaxle. The 3 liter SMPI V-6 engine is optional.

The very angular shaped Dynasty expeienced during its production time only minor changes,  which mainly concerned small equipment details and the color palette.Load-leveling suspension, 14-inch alloy wheels, wire wheel covers, illuminated entry system, Infinity stereo with equaliser and power antenna, power trunk pull-down, dual 6-way power seats with memory for the driver's seat, and power trunk.

Overall, the Dynasty created during the six-year production 522,000 copies.
