History

The Dodge DC series had a 3617 cc side-mounted 8-cylinder in-line engine delivering 75 bhp (55 kW) of power. The rear wheels were driven via a single-disc dry clutch and a three-speed gearbox with central control. All four wheels had hydraulic brakes.

The wheelbase of the chassis was 2896 mm. Built as a four-door Phaeton, a four-door sedan, a two-door coupe, a two-door convertible and a roadster were offered. In addition, the DC was also available as a chassis with all mechanical components for customers who wanted to hire a bodywork company.

The production of the small eight-cylinder was discontinued in September 1931.
