History
The Fiat 510 was derived from the 501 and 505 It was sold in four versions: saloon , torpedo , coupé de ville and landaulet . It has been replaced by the Fiat 512 ..
The engine had a displacement of 3446 cc . It was a six-cylinder in line with side valves and single carburetor The ordinary series had an engine that developed 46 hp , while that of the sports version delivered 53 hp . The "510" was the first car in the world to have brakes on the front . This had a manual four-speed gearbox .
From 1920 the sports version was launched, called "510 S", with a more powerful engine and a shorter wheelbase . It was manufactured in more than 400 built. It had a sporty appearance with a windshield and a wind radiator . It reached a top speed of 100 kmh.
