The Ford Model S was a three or four-seat open runabout and roadster passenger car , built by Ford in the US in the early part of the 20th century.

Starting in 1907, the car, equipped with a 4-cylinder in-line water-cooled, cast-iron block engine of 15hp. Gearbox 2 speeds forward and 1 reverse

was sold for an affordable $ 700, $50 less than the model R, albeit without a roof or lighting.

Like the immediate predecessor, the Ford Model N , the car had a chain drive, front engine and rear-wheel drive, the main difference was a longer wheelbase and 30-inch wheels. The two seat roadster had the option for a third rumble seat at the rear also as a option for a convertible top.

By 1909, about 5750 were produced. The Model S was the last right-hand drive produced by Ford. With the introduction of the all-beating mass produced Ford Model T , the S had no future.
