The Honda 145 series  is a small car of the car manufacturer Honda from the 1970s.

History

The successors of the technically interesting, but probably less successful because of the air-cooled engine type 1300 were built under the name 145 from 1972 to 1974. The 145 appeared to the Japanese but probably as a swan song to a bygone era, because the more modern Civic already conquered the market. Therefore, only 9,736 units (sedans and coupes) were built. Variant of: 1300.  Models and variants: four-door saloon; two-door coupé.

The new, liquid-cooled 1.45-liter engine, which at first glance looks like a Civic engine, was installed in the virtually unchanged body of its predecessor 1300 . However, the received 145 Coupe rectangular headlights as the sedan of the original version of the model 77 . Even the suspension has not changed.

  • power-weight ratio: 23.3 lb/hp. 10.6 kg/hp

It is noteworthy that the model FI of the 145 Coupé was Honda's first production vehicle with mechanically controlled intake manifold injection for performance enhancement .

PERFORMANCE: Fl Coupé

  • max power (DIN): 90 hp at 6,000 rpm
  • max torque (DIN): 91 1b ft, 12.5 kg m at 4,000 rpm
  • max engine rpm: 6,800; 62.8 hp/l
  • Honda fuel injection system.
  • max speeds: (I) 30 mph 48 km/h; (II) 52 mph, 84 km/h; (III) 78 mph, 125 km/h; (IV) 106 mph, 170 km/h
  • power-weight ratio: 20.8 lb/hp, 9.4 kg/hp.

In 1973, a year before production ceased, Honda launched the 145 Coupé with an automatic transmission. But even this measure did not revive the paragraph.
