Japan, Inc. is a Japanese company specializing in custom conversion and tuning of Nissan brand vehicles. The brand name was Autech. 

History

Autech is a subsidiary of Nissan from 1986. Between 1989 and 1991 it was also active as a manufacturer of automobiles. The model was the Autech Stelvio AZ 1. A collaboration between in-house tuning Autech and carrozzeria Zagato. This was a 2-door coupe with 2 + 2 seats (4 seats).

The bodywork was designed by Zagato. Noticeable were functional mirrors housed inside the fenders that worked as the rear-view mirrors. The Nissan Leopard formed the base with 4-Wheel Independent Suspension and 4-Wheel Disc Brakes The unusual 16-inch wheels feature a single aerodynamic duct on each wheel. An engine with V6 2960 cc petrol used a single turbo DOHC VG30DET and 280hp with 4-Speed Automatic Transmission gearbox and rear wheel drive inside Wood interior trim, leather upholstery, Power-adjustable driver's seat, Power-adjustable steering column. cost new $45,000 Planned were 203 copies but Only 104 of these cars were made.
