History

The Car is essentially the concept vehicle presented at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show as the Nissan Invitation . Unlike its predecessor, the second note is now available worldwide. In addition to Japan, where it is produced at the Nissan Kyushu plant. This five-door hatchback was based on Nissan's small car, the Micra 5th generation.

Production at Nissan's Aguascalientes plant in Mexico for South America began in 2013 and as the Nissan Versa Note for North America as the successor to the Nissan Versa hatchback. For Europe, the note from mid-2013 was built at the Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) in Sunderland. Since 2014, it has also been produced in China , replacing the Nissan Livina there and in other Asian markets.

Production in Europe ended in 2017 and worldwide by 2020.

The Note comes with a choice of three engines, all of which are equipped with stop/start technology, resulting in CO2 emissions as low as 95g/km. The 1.2-litre engine produces 80hp at 6,000 rpm and 110Nm at 4,000 rpm. This amounts to 60.1mpg combined fuel economy and 109g/km CO2 emissions. At 5,600 rpm, the 1.2-litre DIG-S produces 99 horsepower and 142Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. CO2 emissions with the manual transmission are 99 g/km (119 g/km with the CVT transmission). The average claimed fuel consumption is 65.7 miles per gallon (with manual transmission). The Nissan Note 1.2 has a 1198 cc three-cylinder gasoline engine (HR12DE) with 59 kW (80 hp) or 72 kW (HR12DDR) with supercharger (98 hp). A CVT transmission is also available.

The Note engine range is a newly engineered four-cylinder 1.5-litre turbo diesel. This 90hp unit emits 95g/km of CO2 and offers a combined fuel economy figure of 78.5mpg.In Europe, a newly developed 1.5-liter common-rail diesel engine with 66 kW (90 hp) and a standard consumption of 3.6 liters per 100 kilometers in the program. All engines have a start-stop system as standard. In November 2016, Nissan presented in Japan with the "e-Power" a hybrid drive version . In addition, there is a Nismo version with 103 kW (140 hp) available.
