The Grandland X is an SUV of the  car manufacturers Vauxhall in the UK and Opel in Europe. The vehicle was presented in mid-April 2017, its public debut was at the International Motor Show in Frankfurt in September 2017. And on October 21 for the public to buy.

History

The SUV is developed and built together with the second generation of the Peugeot 3008 , with which it shares the platform . Both models are in the PSA plant in France Sochaux built. As early as December 2012, it was announced that in addition to a small car and a van, in cooperation with the PSA Group .The Grand country X is after the cross country X , the second vehicle coming from the collaboration on the market. The SUV is based on the EMP2 platform, including the second-generation Peugeot 3008 launched in 2016 , the DS7 Crossback featured at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show and the Citroën C5 Aircross . 

The Grandland X is offered with engines already known from the Peugeot 3008. As in the French counterpart no four-wheel drive is intended for the five-seater. A charged 1.6-liter gasoline engine with 133 kW (180 hp) was also introduced in July 2018. Furthermore, a plug-in hybrid  variant. 

The car recieved the full 5 stars in the Euro-NCAP crash test in 2017
