Dunn Motor Works was an American manufacturer in the 1910s of engines and small automobiles . The brand name was Dunn. 

History

Walter E. Dunn founded in 1900 the company based in Ogdensburg in the US state of New York . 1916 began the production of automobiles . The sales figures remained low. 

The only model is a open body in the form of a roadster that could accommodate two people built as a small medium weight cyclecar. The self-made V type air-cooled V4 engine gave 15 hp with 76.2 mm bore , 101.6 mm stroke and 1853 cc engine capacity with atwater Kent ignition . This drove a two-speed gearbox and a propeller shaft to the rear axle 2 1/2 inch by 28 inch tires. The chassis had 213 cm wheelbase  the top speed was 30mph.  The original price was low at £295 US dollars with options for 80amp battery electric or gas lights.

A total of about 20 vehicles and many engines built by the company but by 1918 ended the vehicle production.
