The Jewel was a British small car, which was built between 1921 and 1939 by the John E. Wood in Bradford (Yorkshire) .

History

The cars were made in very small quantities. They were assembled from components of different manufacturers at the request of the customer. So no copy resembled the other. Claimed features such as MADE TO LAST—ALWAYS READY FOR WORK —COMFORTABLE — SPEEDY — WELL BALANCED — FULL LENGTH SIZE SEATING with 45 M.P.G. AND 50 M.P.h top speed.

The model 21/09 HP with a four-cylinder engine with 1247 cc displacement was from 1922 to 1933.  In 1927, it created only twelve copies.

Production ended in 1939 due to the outbreak of the second world war.
