EH Lancaster & Company Ltd. was a British manufacturer of automobiles in the early part of the 20th century . 

History

The company from Sunderland with Mr E.H. Lancaster who was later involved With Clement began in 1902 with the production of automobiles. The brand name was Lancaster . 1904 ended the production.

The vehicles were based on chassis on the French Lacoste & Battmann and received built-in motors from De Dion-Bouton . There was a choice of 6 hp and 8 hp engines . The engines were mounted in the front of the vehicle and propelled the rear axle. Cardan drive was standard.
