The Buick Terraza is a van of the GM subsidiary Buick, which was sold from the beginning of 2005 to the end of 2007. This replaced the Oldsmobile Silhouette and took the position of the luxury four-door van at Buick, because after the abandonment of the Oldsmobile brand, the vehicle platform had also been taken over by Buick. As part of the General Motors Group, he built on the same platform as the models Chevrolet Uplander, Pontiac Montana and Saturn Relay, which were all built in Doraville, Georgia.

Compared to the predecessor model series, the front bumper and the bonnet were extended to improve the frontal crash zone. Nevertheless, the revised model, whose origins since 1990 Pontiac Trans Sport (later Pontiac Montana) no longer competitive.

Initially, the Terraza started with a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 200 hp and an acceleration of 0-100 km / h in 10.2 seconds. A year later followed optionally a 3.9-liter V6 engine with 240 hp. In 2007, the 3.5-liter V6 engine was phased out, and the 3.9-liter engine became the base engine. From 2007, the engine was also available in a flex-fuel version (with compatibility of different fuels).

With a base price of $ 27,790, the Terraza was the most expensive van of the GM brand to date. As usual with Buick he was available in the versions CX and CXL with wood trim effect. The Terraza was globally not the first Van of Buick, in China, previously offered as Buick GL8.

At the end of 2007, the production of Terraza was discontinued and replaced by the crossover model Buick Enclave.
