In 1988, the Acty appeared in 2nd generation models HA1, HA2, HH1, HH2, HA3, HA4, HA5, HH3, HH4 now larger vehicle length. This Honda responded to the already changed in 1984 rules for Kei Cars. The engine was again redeveloped and now had three instead of two cylinders. Also, a new version of Honda Street was available again.
The Acty has been thoroughly redesigned because the 1988 model has not fully exhausted the cubic capacity and vehicle length limitations. From the year 1990, the Acty was equipped with a new engine (E07A). A 3-cylinder four-stroke engine with 656 cm 3 . This engine was used in all Honda Kei cars of that time.
Performance:
Max power 27,9 kW (38 hp) at 5300 rpm
Max torque 54 Nm (5,5 kgm) at 4500 rpm (JIS standards)
Specific power 42,5 kW/litre (57,9 hp/litre)
max speed 115 km/h in 5th gear.
A new model, the Acty Crawler, supplemented the program in 1995. This version not only had caterpillar drive on a tandem rear axle, but was also a tipper at the same time.
In 1996, the tried-and-tested E07A engine was equipped with PGM-FI gasoline injection, resulting in a power increase from 28 kW (38 hp) to 32 kW (44 hp). Technically, the models remained unchanged.
