Buel Machine Company , was an American company. as Buel Machine Works The brand name was Buel .

History

James Buel in 1857 founded the company in Woburn in Massachusetts . He produced, among other drilling and freight lifts. His son James Frederick Buel later took over the management. He then produced between 1897 and 1903 a few automobiles .  Customers were friends and local buyers. In total, only about six vehicles were created.J. Fredrick Buel  was active in the company from 1920 and later took over the management.  John G. Reed is also referred to as president. 1979, the company was dissolved. 

Buel made early steam cars. The steam engine had two cylinders . Except for the steam boiler and the tires, all parts were created by the company. The original price was between 500 and 600 US dollars to local Customers.
