History
Lambert W. Coppock created the Coppock Motor Car Company in Marion, Indiana in December 1906 to produce commercial vehicles. In July 1907, the Decatur Commercial Club joined and shifted its offices to Decatur, Indiana, due to financial concerns.
The company was founded on October 8, 1909 as a successor company. Lambert Coppock retired at about this time. The production of commercial vehicles continued. Between April 1910 and 1911 in addition about 200 passenger cars were created. The very good sales of commercial vehicles led in 1912 to a reorganization and Grand Rapids Motor Truck Company based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
The cars on offer were a utility car it came with two side oil lamps tubular horn and full set of tools. The open body could accommodate four people with a 100" wheelbase.
