Leader was a British car brand owned by Charles Binks Ltd. was made in Apsley Nottinghamshire from 1905 to 1907.

History

From 1906, the vehicles were manufactured by New Leader Cars Limited and offered as New Leader. The leader was conventional automobiles for the time as small two seaters to larger touring cars as well as commercial vehicles. The range of engines included both a three cylinder in-line engine with 1225 cc and larger V8 and eight-cylinder inline engines with up to 15,934 cc capacity power range 8, 12 hp 2-seater,12-1 Tonneau 6-20 hp, and larger cars with 20-30, 35-45 and 70-90 h.p. The majority of the models, however, was equipped with medium-sized four-cylinder inline engines and all shaft-drive models. None of the models achieved profitable production figures. Binks built carburettors, the time for various British car brands, such as Rover.
